Update: I got the cables yesterday and installed them today. They are plenty long enough to route so they won't bind while flexing, they also mount on the prorock without the use of the spacer they provide. I have a 2 door and I just could not get the stock cables routed loose enough without fear that they would get pulled while flexing. The bad news is that the E brake still works as crappy as ever but at least I won't have problems with the cables

Just a little more personal experience for the next person that searches for this information. Non prorock axle. Fusion D60. The re routing of stock cables worked fine for length of cable but not at all for brake adjustment. Lever pulls all the way up and no braking. The stock cables will need the spacer if you just have to use them. The Mopar cables however work perfectly. They don't have to be re routed and adjustment length is correct. Worth the $ in my opinion. It's good to have a working parking brake.
