I am still planning on making this trip. My plan is to arrive Friday night and stay in a motel. I would leave my doors in the motel and stay the night again Saturday evening. This is still a day trip correct? Can anyone recommend a nice close hotel, where the hotel room doors open from the outside, near the parking lot. It would just make it easy for when I take the doors off. As of now, it will be myself and my 10 year old daughter. She is a trooper. Are they any bathrooms on the trail? If not, I have a portable camping toilet bucket thing I can bring for my daughter. Thanks

I'm asking about the hotel, I personally don't know the hotels over there. Stay posted..

Awesome to hear your daughter will spot for you! Looks like most of us are trying to bring family, but sometimes wives change their mind last minute.

There are bathrooms at each end of the trail, but none on the trail. Depending how things go, it could take us quite a while to get through. Probably will start at 8am from the staging area, and It'll probably be 5 before we are out the other end. In a smaller, capable group, I've run through in 4 hours, then run it backwards in another 4. This would be awesome, but likely will take us longer.

Whatever is closest to where everyone would be meeting up.

Mackey my friend david said the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a good hotel in Sisters ... Five Pines lodge is spendy, but they are very nice and great location... Can't wait to see everybody in 5 days

We had a great trip this past weekend with 8 Jeeps. The trail was wet and brutal. Great memories and good times. Thanks to everyone who came along!

It was a great trip. Several people has some minor damage. I like to refer to this "damage" as a war wound and a story.
