I thought the same thing about the axles, but our current Jeeps are 2.5 times heavier, and have at least that much more room.

We could argue this stuff all day long, but the original was built to sell to the military, and the overwhelming majority sold today, never see dirt, unless it’s at soccer practice.

Another trick I did myself to get in my gang box at the job site was to take a 5/8 or 1/2” drill bit and just drill the core out where you insert the key. This seems much faster though

We’ve had our Job Box hit a few times... the last time over $6k in tools lost and they simply drilled the lock out. We won’t even leave tools on site anymore. F’n blows.
