Violent crimes takes a lot of stuff into consideration. I’m sure every gang related shooting was done by someone who legally obtained a firearm (sarcasm). If you don’t like guns, then California has all the gun laws you need. This is a Constitutional Republic, we live in, and that pretty much means YOU, don’t get to tell the rest of us what to do.

I believe that there should be armed security guards in every school from daycares through college. Walk into a concert, armed security; truck transporting money, armed security; walk into a federal court house; metal detectors and armed security. There’s something to be said when our money and a few federal judges have better security than our “greatest treasures”.

If self defense is your rationale for having guns, then this makes sense. Would you ask your home invader to stand by while you go fetch your gun from a safe?
