Therefore, Easter Eggs.

Not certain how the bunny comes into it, unless it has something to do with the rabbit test. There’s an old expression- “The rabbit died” used to tell s women she’s pregnant. Blood drawn from a woman and injected into a rabbit. If the woman is pregnant, her blood will have a hormone in it that will kill the rabbit. I have no idea if this is true or not. It’s just a wild hare brained guess on my part.

Looks like they ate everything already. Still cold out there?
LOL - that's what I was thinking but they keep coming through. In another clip, I could see them making a stop at the pond to drink and think that might be a reason for them being here.

Things are starting to warm up but we're still getting an occasional snow storm here and there. Fortunately, we're on the western slope and whatever does fall seems to be melting away in about a day. About ready to get back out and de-winterize the place.

Not sure if it's just a spring thing but a herd of deer decided to make our pasture their home. Our game camera has been going off like crazy for days now. Here are just a few pics of what we've been seeing.

Is the coast clear?

They seem to hang out most in the later afternoon or early hours of the morning.

Might be the same two girls later on in the day.

Things are greening up in the pasture and this time around, a herd of elk came through the pasture. Here's a shot of a good size group just lounging around from this morning.

And, here you can see them prancing around.

Here's a video clip of them.

And, here's one of them taking a long draw from the pond.
