What was done to your rig this week?

Yeah, those are what I have too. The JK front doors are beasts and like you have them stored up high. It makes for some careful balancing on a ladder to get the up there.

I actually had a ladder ready but didn't have to use it. Seriously the jl rear doors are crazy easy to put over your head with no issues.

Can the doors “close” or do they stick out like that? I need something to hang half doors on easier. I have the hangers for the regular doors.

Yes they will close flat but obviously they'd have to be mounted further away from each other. Spacing them from the wall with a 2x4 or 4x4 helps with mirrors/armrests/etc also. Here's how we had them previously:

Yes, that’s the way mine are kept. I used a 2x4 to block out the front doors so the exterior part of the door would face the wall and would lay flat with the mirrors folded in and not get scratched. The back doors fold flat against the wall with out the block again with the exterior facing the wall.

Arb, rebuild kit, gears, axle shafts, and misc. box of parts going in tomorrow.

Drove it to work! That might seem pathetic but it has been down since May. I finally have my Jeep back and it's better than ever. It drives so much nicer without the Detroit in the rear.
Gotta get 500 miles on it, change the rear diff fluid, then some trails!

Nothing exciting but I changed out the axle u-joints. Mine were 10 years old, broken, and basically fused to the shafts. I had to bring them to a hop to get the u-joints pressed out, nothing I did worked.

But they're in!
