What was done to your rig this week?

Well I was going to install just the Big Bore box then starting installing the whole kit minus the ram..20201219_175236.jpg

Just diving right in!

You might as well install as much as you can. Verses draining the system to install the rez or pump later. The Ram can go on with a lot less fluid loss. Just need to bleed the hell out of it once you put it on.

I recently purchased a used one and the older man gave me a big box of all kinds of odd stuff. He said you don’t know you need this yet but you do. I used stuff out of it to press my rear axles together the first day I had the press. One of the better $125 I’ve spent!

Just got my compressor installed. Just waiting on my switch pros to show up so I can figure out how to wire and plumb it all. I hate electrical work. Thanks again Bubba. What type of fittings is everyone using? In case I want to get 90°'s or anything else. Also what is a good setup for airing up? Still need to get all that stuff. Don’t you have a manual? I’ve been wondering if the single compressor mounts are the same for both auto and manual.

Yes I do and I was wondering the same thing as I walked out to bolt it up...haha. Fortunately the only pain in the ass was bolting the compressor to the mount. Per EVO's instructions the bolts are to be installed from the bottom up. Of course the arb bolts are too long and had to be cut. Also there is no way to get the 4mm Allen wrench onto the bolts to tighten thd compressor up after rotating it. I tried cutting down the wrench but didn't cut if shorf enough.. I just used needle nose pliers on the outside of them instead. Other than that it bolted up to the firewall on rhd mount no problem.
