So I got impatient and decided to work on it a little more. I got everything in place and tacked so I can at least take it off the Jeep to finish welding it up. It came out exactly how I wanted as far as placement.






And the tire is much closer to the Jeep.

I did flat black on the last one which I really liked, but this time I'm going to try the Rustoleum Truckbed Coating just to see. It will have a slightly textured look.

Thanks guys. Just got the final welds done. Feels good to be done. I honestly thought this would be a project that I'd slowly work on through the winter, and here we are nearly done. Which I'm glad.

And here she is ready for final clean and inspect, then paint. After that, just have to fit the license plate.
