Where did you get the steel from? Looks like a recycled street sign, but it's too thick for that.

Removed bumper to finish welding on the spindle and latch support area. Soaked it all in undercoating. Plasma cutter worked much better today.
Finished product for now.

Its coming along nicely man! I went the latch route but curious how well the pin will work. I was concerned about it rattling so wanted a compression fit. Will be curious how it all works out in the end.
