Just got done reading the thread and I love it. The XJ looks great! I know you have been a busy guy, but I agree their should be an XJ experience or just a Jeep experience that other models can join in(got my fingers crossed).

I'm curious to see what else you have in store for this beauty, bumpers, sliders, etc. :munching:

Well, the JK-Experience exists to help showcase aftermarket products made for the best selling off road vehicle on the market today. Unfortunately, there just isn't much of a market for older Jeeps and so I doubt there will ever be an event quite like it for them. But, we do runs outside of it all the time and we do welcome ALL Jeeps and even other off road vehicles. While we only had one TJ join us on our Rubicon run this year, we have had multiple TJ's and even an XJ join us last year. :yup:

Be very careful with the 🔲👀 (Square Eye) Mafia and their evil ways.

That's awesome. Some day I'll make it out that way, it's on the bucket list. Have you made any decision on who's sliders and bumpers you might run?

Sorry for not responding to this sooner. That would be great if you could make it out. As far as sliders go, I actually decided to order up a set of AJ's Offroad Super RockRails. In fact, they should be showing up at my doorstep any day now. :yup:

And finally, one more from the rear...

I'll have to say by looking at the pictures even with 37's on Rubicat and 33's on the XJ the differentials both front and rear look like they have the same ground clearence  Just a thought

To be clear, 285's have an actual measurement of 33". Tires that have 33" stated on the sidewalls have an actual measurement of 31". Likewise, a 37" tire will have an actual measurement of about 35". In other words, there's really only about a 1" difference in height provided by the tires between Rubicat and our XJ - about what you are seeing in these photos.

So just to extend my knowledge if you were to take XJ where Rubicat has been would it perform just the same as Rubicat or need more improvements

Well, Rubicat has a 4:1 transfer case, lockers and of course coil overs so, it really wouldn't be a fair comparison. At bare minimum, I'd want a 4:1 transfer case as that would help out on the rocks. Lockers would be a huge help as well.

True, considering that the XJ isn't a Rubicon, but that's what modifications are for

It was just curiosity couldn't help but ask
