Glad you enjoyed the pics. So that it isn't missed, the Rubicon is a tough trail especially if you run obstacles like the Soup Bowl and drop down the Old Sluice. Of course, the previous version of the Little Sluice was nothing short of nuts. That being said, yeah, it sure is nice to be able to pick up and do a run like this on a whim. Of course, if I were really cool, I would sit behind my computer and post up stupid on Instagram and Facebook all day long.
LOL!! I hope you realize that as much as we enjoy taking on a tough trail like this, our true passion is in getting out in to the wild and exploring. If we can do it with friends, all the better. The wheeling for us is just icing on the cake.
LOL!! Well, all I can say is that I've been doing this for a really long time and I still feel like I lack the experience to run trails like this.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy your time on the Rubicon. August is a good time to go especially being that the mosquitos aren't as bad. How long will you be around the area?
Glad you enjoyed the photos and write-up. Knowing guys like you appreciate it makes it worth the while
Can you imagine what the creek looks like at 800cfs?!
LOL!! I was thinking the same thing
