My own JK 'Big Brake' research:

Might be a dumb question but what psi should the brakelines be able to handle. Considering some toxic which are rated at 3000 psi. I'm ignorant to this stuff

I just received a reply from EBC to an inquiry I made about availability on their Extra Duty pads for our Jeeps. Here is the answer I got:

"I’ve asked the UK EBC production about ED91798 and ED91799. Still waiting on a response, but last I was aware they didn’t have an ETA as they were waiting for NUCAP to get them the new NRS hooked back plates and NUCAP didn’t have an ETA on when they would have the plates available to send to us."

So it looks like anybody's guess as to when these will actually be available. Which is frustrating because they have been advertising these for quite some time now. :grayno:

Seems there are a number of places here that are selling them.
All at big $$$. (at least to me)

Is there anyone that has actually been able to purchase them that anyone knows of?

On EBC's website they have a list of online retailers, so I checked with the companies I was familiar with (Summit Racing, 4 Wheel Parts, and a few others) and they all have no listings whatsoever for these pads. :grayno:

It seems this whole thread has resorted to alternatives to any BBK from the OP or anyone else.
If Teraflex wasn't so bent on using Chinese parts I would be interested in their product.

Use the JK8 kit. It is almost the same as the teraflex and it is all oem. I have the teraflex and it shuts the jeep down with 37's.
 
brave soul running that size tire on a 44. :beer:

We've seen a lot worse than that around here, lol. There's been a few that have tried wheeling 40's on a D30. My own 40's were on a D30 for awhile but I wasn't stupid enough to wheel on it, mostly just trips to town and back.

Stopping is greatly improved but the peddle feel is the fame. I am going to upgrade the master cylinder and see if this help. I am also going to see how much it would cost to get the bracket and the spacer machined if anyone is interested.

That's interesting feedback Md_rubi. What pads are you running? Just the stock Ram pads? Also, I'm assuming that's the stock Wrangler rotors as well too?
 
After seeing the pic you just posted of the bracket, it looks almost exactly like the adapter brackets that came on my front Currie RockJock. May be some food for thought there.
 
Here's a couple pics of what came on my RockJock. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1402887359.532981.jpg ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1402887379.667280.jpg looks a lot the same, so it might be worth making a couple calls if it would work, would also save the time and cost of having the bracket fabbed up.
