WAYALIFE on the GO : Miscellaneous Photos from Cindy & Eddie!

So how's the JL handling in the snow? I know there was that video posted somewhere on here claiming that the JK handles better.

Honestly, that guy was on drugs if he really believes that. The JL handled amazingly well on the crack of dawn snow/icy roads around my house and if anything, to a fault. I was purposefully trying to stomp on the gas in 2WD to break the rear end loose and the ESC either didn't let me or was quick to correct for the slide I was starting to go in. Same goes for braking. I made multiple hard stops on ICE patches I found to see what would happen but in every case, the ABS did a great job of bringing me to a straight and safe stop and it a surprisingly short distance or relatively so anyway. By comparison, I always found my stock JK's to "feel" heavy in the rear and slip out more in 2WD. Of course, they were running MT's and not AT's like the JL and I'd have to think that played some role in that. Also, it could just be my imagination but the speed upon which the brakes pulse during ESC or ABS activation seemed faster to me as well.

Good to hear. I figured as much when I saw his review. Even the JK pisses me off when trying to break the tires loose to have some snow fun. [emoji482]

I hear ya. Moby is the only one that's fun to play with. All his ESP/BAS is turned off and he's got all kinds of power. You can totally get him sideways and with ease

You guys and northern Cali are getting pounded. It's dropping down to us today and overnight. Supposed to be some solid rain.
Yea we got snow lots of it and they shut the interstate down pretty much all day into the next and couldn't even clear the roads it was that bad, a plow also turned over as-well. The guy who wants to run the rubicon well good luck it's pretty deep in snow and you can't even get to the trail head at the moment, and stay off the drugs like Eddie mentioned.

I should note, it's not like we couldn't use the snow, it's just that it would have been nice for it to have come a couple of months ago. I'm all ready for warmer weather and if this keeps up, it'll push back the Summer wheeling up in the mountains.

Here in Northwest NM and Southern Colorado we are really hurting for moisture.
This years drought is worst than 2002 when we had the major forest fires in this area.
Last Fridays Durango Hearld newspaper had a front page article about how bad it was.
I hope not, but it does not look good for this summer. I don't do facebook and so really like
this idea of your photos. Thanks for sharing.

You know you’ve become a true Northern Nevadan when you start bitching about when it snows in the (near) spring.
