Thats what I used to hear from my wife until my shop was done and she saw how nice it is, now she wants to just build a shop and live upstairs in it on our Hawaii property.

Now yes, it probably helps but even here in Oregon she would go for it, probably more because I gave her some space in it for her jewelry business, lol

Shop does not meet the minimum square foot requirement of the HOA
It is actually her idea to build the shop with an apartment to live in while we build the main house.

It has take a long time to get here.
Yeah beats the last place we lived when we built in Florida, a 16x20 building with no running water for about a year and then still no bathroom. This one will have a bathroom, kitchen and a lift for the Jeep.
Better get some rock out there so my truck doesn't sink while we're at the race.
Thank you and it has taken some time to get my workshop. Once it is done I am hoping to have a fully functional shop that I can work on and maybe even fabricate some things for Canvas. I had the idea from looking at Camp Wayalife. :thumb:
The apartment is going to eventually become an in-law suite. I will be updating Camp Canvas as we continue to build. Once the shop is completed we will break ground on the big house.
Just park on the high side of the property and stay off the grass.
It was actually the wife's idea to build the shop with an apartment. I just got to choose the size and how many bays.

She sounds like a keeper, took me three to find one with the right priorities like that.
Well I am on #2 and going to keep her. Best part is she wants to build the Jeep just as bad as I do and feels the shop needs a lift.
