Here's another stupid law that stands as much chance of being upheld in court.

In Atlanta you cannot let your pubic hair grow pass 6 inches.

I've been following this topic and the first thing that came to mind is big government trying to find a way to make more money. More fines, fees and regulations.

Here's another one that just came out:

Isn't the USFS funded by American tax payers anyway?!? We have a right to take photos or videos. If they want to be that way we need to vote to stop tax payer funding to USFS! This is some bull!!!

I was always under thr impression that a photo taken in public was fair game of pretty much anything. It seems this will set a poor precedent: now lawsuits will pop up for pics taken at any location pf amything without express written Permission from all persons, items, manufacturers, ants, squirrels, dogs and petunias.

LMAO!!!
Theodore Roosevelt would be rolling over in his grave right about now and it's a sad day for those sacrifice their lives for others to enjoy freedoms of this country.

It's a sad thing to watch our liberties dry up. All I can do is make sure to be an informed voter and bring my kids up right.

How does this meet 1st amendment freedoms?

I know OBAMA could care less about the Constitution but this is so wrong.
Sahara Club perhaps?

Thats the tricky thing - It requires a permit and therefore is still permissible albeit expensive.

Fortunately our rights cannot be limited by financial means I.e. you have the right to protest and must acquire a permit to do so which can be expensive however there are waivers for such things if, perhaps, the protesting group were homeless veterans with no income protesting the VA on legal fashion.

However I agree with you at any rate - this is just a scheme to start locking people up.

These proposed fines are a step too far for all who it will touch. I am pissed! When Teddy Roosevelt dedicated the Roosevelt Arch in West Yellowstone I wonder if he had this fine in mind. The inscription above reads in part "For the benefit and enjoyment of all."
