Amp'd Up JKU Sport Build

I can bring the Lincoln if they have AC power at Heart Bar. [emoji23]

Seriously though, the focus recently has been getting my tire carrier latch straightened out. I managed to graft a synergy latch to my warn bumper. Paint doesn't quite match though. [emoji50]View attachment 270687

I guess you'll have to repaint the bumper and carrier now!

That's a good looking latch.

Thanks. I picked up the bumpers used years ago off CL. A prior owner had put in his own latch "solution," which I hated. I don't know what happened to the original Warn latch. Hopefully the Synergy latch will work out. Someday I'll maybe get the bumper, tire carrier etc. re-powder coated. But here in So Cal, rust is not much of an issue, so it may be a very long time.

I've been eyeing up the Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop for a while now, but just couldn't bring myself to spend $700 for the twill version. Well, my patience was rewarded by finding a great deal on one that was only used for about 4 months!

Stoked to not have to remove the freedom panels every time!

And look what got delivered today! Now I need to start planning the build for my custom slide so I can mount it sideways in the back.

What size fridge is that? I'm not sure what size fits best in the JK, or would be a good usable size.

It's a 63qt. It is big. I think the 50qt is the ideal size because it can fit facing front to back and be placed either on the small part of the seat folded down, or in the cargo area. I don't think they're going to make the Elements fridge in any other size though.
