Axle truss

Ohhhhh I get it now. Because im running 7" of lift with 40's.

LOL!! Please - As I've said before, different strokes for different folks. There's nothing wrong with trying to look badass. Maybe you can go flex out on top of your buddy's Jeep that's been stuck for 4 days - that would make you look way badass :yup:

Which part I just had front and rear trusses installed on the jku. The same guy just did my buddies rubi front and rear and didn't take the axles out. There's a few spots that make it alot easier to weld the truss on while the axle is off...

Everything after the word "For". ;)

The point is that trusses on a factory housing are pointless and the prorock doesn't need them.

It doesn't make "ALOT" of difference when your spending that much cash. Whats an extra 230-250 per truss. Some people like the "badass" look of a truss on an axles.
Same reason why some people paint there arms or diff covers before putting them on.

Lol your a dumbass. If your spending the money on rock jocks or pr and trussing it something is wrong with you. There is ZERO need to truss them just cause it "looks cool".

As far as the 14 bolt guys go the reason they truss them (from what I have seen) is mainly for the proper jk mounting locations of control arms and stuff. Not because it adds strength

I agree, "Different strokes for different folks". Because if not, we would all be driving the same Jeep. Where's the fun in that?? :idk:

I'm not a prorock guy. As I put Rockjocks 60s on Blkhulk
I do know there is no truss made for Rockjock 60s or I probably would have put them on. I know a few guys now that have built 14bolt 1 tons an added truss's. TMR makes a wicked truss kit for this option.

Hey BLK HULK, why would you wanna put a truss on your RJ60?

Man, this is an aggressive bunch

Nah...just a bunch that calls it like they see it. We all work hard for our money; no sense in wasting it on unnecessary shit (well, of course, unless you want to drop coin just to "look badass".)

For the price of them it's not a bad option, plus it looks bad a$$.
Get it done before you through it in, its easier to install when the axle is out, theres a few weld spots that can not be accessed when the axle is installed.

The OP asked for advice regarding the need for a truss on a pr44. It may benefit him if you explained your recommendation. I am also curious. "For the price, not a bad option and it looks bad a$$" probably doesn't help much, and really provides no reasonable opinion. Can you elaborate?

So I bent up my rubicon Dana 44 with sleeves and gussets just purchased a Dynatrac pro rock 44 unlimited. Is there any reason to put on a truss with these beefy tubes or shall I just call it good

I think the consensus is 'call it good.' Just a guess. :idontknow:
