I haven't put the top corner pieces in but I plan to.

Can't speak for the EVO kit, but as far as the the Rockhard kit, absolutely pre-fit! You'll really regret it if you don't. When you go to insert the passenger side lower assembly, you may question whether or not its even made to fit a Jeep.
There's a technique you basically have to figure out where you shove, push, twist and BAM, it drops into place. Probably scratch your dash as well. Don't sweat it - it gets covered up for the most part. If you don't figure this out first you'll scratch the shit out of your freshly painted/coated parts!
