Looks intriguing. I wonder if there will be provisions for mounting a CB up top (kinda like using the KC light mount on the rock hard)...though I suppose you could always drill and tap if need be.

Zooming in on the pic it doesn't look like there is a spot to use the kc clamp but like you said you can prob drill and tap it

The only down side is there is no grab handles as most people like (preference)

Mel said they might be adding those on as an option. And possible mounts for cameras!

Thanks for posting pics guys! I don't think the teaser shots did justice to the cage, it looks pretty damn good! It's definitely growing on me. It looks like it should be pretty stout. I like how it fits into the A pillars, and the dash sides have a nice clean, finished look.

Was anything said about how it installs?

Damn! Just when I thought my decision was made...
I was hoping they'd also offer up something for the rear of the 2 door cage also.
For the 2 door crowd, the full front/rear RH set up is only a few bucks more the the EVO front half.

I was told that there is a spot to mount a CB or whatever else. The cover plate comes off on the bottom side. The new fenders were on this jeep also. Looked identical to a narrow poison spider tube fender.

For display purposes I think it would have been better to have the dash crossbar black. It just seems a bit clunky in the pics. I'll be getting a closer look tomorrow in person. Maybe it's not that bad.

Does the cross bar bolt in through the triangular openings?

The top header and front streamer look very clean.

Love the design, it looks a lot stronger and lower profile to me. Just have to figure out how to get one shipped to MD. Hoping they do mounts for things and the rear C-pillar uprights as well.

After seeing the Evo and rock hard cage today in person today, I think I prefer the look of the Evo but I'm not sure it's enough to justify the additional cost. We also noticed the Evo cage didn't have any grab handles. Maybe that will be an option. The Evo was more stream lined seemed to blend into the interior better and def improved on visibility.
But if you want the hard core Offroad look and people to notice you have a trail cage the rock hard is for you.

I'm not seeing it. Seems rather clunky and the lines don't flow. Battlestar Galactica with large weld seams.
I still prefer the RH Cage with the grab handles.
