HALF TIME - Rugged Ridge JK Half Doors for MOBY

You are welcome my broceefus, those are close weights, I dropped the tenths and rounded down.

Good enough for me! So I guess it's
Safe to assume that the mopar half doors are somewhere in the 45ish lbs range for the front and 40ish lbs for the rear. What do you think?

Not sure exactly but they are extremely lighter. You have less metal and there is also no mechanisms inside ( window tracks, lift etc ) not to mention the fact that there is no glass. The way the inside of the mopar uppers is made there is no rattles or chance of them
Pulling away ( bending out ) at highway speeds either. That being said I now want a pair or rugged 1/2 doors to use on the trail as mopar ones are crazy expensive

I would GUESS that they are lighter than that being that both front and rear doors have far less sheet metal, no glass/motors/etc. I don't know how much all that "stuff" weighs but it's gotta be less than 6 lbs off the rear Factory full doors. I

That being said, the half doors are an item I would use only when wheeling hard and during the few months we have decent/tolerable weather in Southeast Tejas (4-5 months a year). Id rather save some coin and get the Rugged Ridge doors as long as there isn't an annoying rattling/fitment issue. The mopar half doors are crazy expensive.

I've been wanting a set of these for a year or more. By far the best looking second only to OEM.

Probably my first summer purchase next year since I'll no longer be in an RV, and have storage space for doors! Looking forward to see them painted! :thumb:

They don't rattle. But I think you should get Mopar doors. ;)

When I bought my JK, I didn't know they had half doors for a JK, let alone from the factory. I reckon I should've done more research. I would just about trade my full doors for half doors!

Some people don't care what you think.

Glad you chose to call me out after Addam dissed you. Grudges?

But I'm not gonna turn Eddies half door thread into a pissing contest

Good idea, you need a thread of your own. One that you can use big words and long paragraphs to show everyone you have short man little dick complex. You can talk about how much money you have and how smart you are.

I'll leave this thread alone out of respect for Eddie and the forum. Ask yourself why you have a problem with me. What specific interaction caused the conflict. Seems to me you're the "hater" who feels some sort of self entitled resentment like most of the socialist liberals in this world. Being from Texas, I guess I'm just not used to the leftist attitudes. I won't respond on this thread here on out even if you decide to toss another Stalinesque Occupy Wall Street member comment.
