Sleeper JK

I'm not sure if my jeep is a sleeper jk with 35s and armor but around town where I am I see plenty if lifted JKs that look like they never go offroad

They look nice. At night with the Truck-lites they must be pretty cool!

I almost never run the duallys on the street there really isn't need for them with the trucklite's
But offroad it's amazing the difference between factory and trucklite's with the duallys

These pictures were taken at the exact same spot inside reward mine (pitch black) a year apart on my way up to the sierras

I saw this project 'Sleeper JK' in 4 wheel drive magazine. They swap wheel/tire combos depending on what they are doing. Stock looking on 37s. I think this is what you were talking about...

I like it. Looks pretty stock from the outside but tricked out on the inside ( and underside?)

i know everyone is showing JKS but how about an XJ? i have some pics of when i just put a 4 inch lift on it with stock size tires and of course a regear and locker install, looks fully stock and had people tell me it couldnt do anything offroad! yes that is cliff hanger made it out just fine :rock:

My sleeper:

I kept stock fenders, stock wheels, and the stock front bumper. Nearly everything on the outside is stock except the tires yet it can still traverse some pretty gnarly terrain.

Does my Green machine count as a sleeper? Painted the front and rear stock bumpers to color match rest of the Jeep! (thinking I should have done the top as well, but usually I am topless!) 4" Lift, 35" Nitto's!

Frame mounted Sliders
Only thing missing is a better tire carrier.
