As long as the roads don't freeze we are good. They close everything down in case it does. I work in healthcare and we are running in it no matter what. I remember last year when we had black ice I was driving around picking up and dropping off my co workers to their houses. Fun times

Last time I saw it remotely close to this was Christmas Eve in 2004, but it only happened closer to the coast. Christmas morning we woke up to 12” at my house. I was fortunate to be there since I only had a month left in the Marine Corps and decided to take Christmas leave anyways. Almost didn’t.

That looks like LA everyday with no snow or fires. It's crazy that you have snow and we have huge fires right now. I can't even remember having fire like this in December

The Cali fires are insane right now. I have a friend whose family lives in Murietta, and was evacuated yesterday. Hope everyone is safe out there.
