Starting to get dark outside. Going to head outside in about 20 minutes to see how much of it I can see. I think we're in 98% totality or whatever it's called. I'm no scientist.

Just drove through neighborhood at it's peak. Kind cool, the houses with automatic exterior night time lighting all lit up!

Just walked outside. Pretty cool stuff, couldn't really see much because I didn't have the glasses, but still cool to see it get dark out at 1pm.

Played around a bit with an old telescope. This was at peak around 10:22 in SoCal. I'll likely be dead or too old to care in another 40 years, so it was cool. [emoji41]

My camera had a hard time focusing on it, but all I had was my phone. Next time I'll hopefully have access to my good camera . If you missed it, you'll only have to wait until 4/8/24 (< 7 years for the mathematically impaired) ... Not as long as some people have been suggesting.
