Front axle leak tell me what I need to do.

OK so for you guys running a front PR44 and 60 rear what are your wheel and spacer setup? Are you running 5 lug up front and 8 lug the rear? This shit is not longer a rabbit hole, it turned into a bear den.

I am not seeing a full float 60 on DT site. Is this a special order?

How much more money is a complete front 60 vs a PR44?

No. Most people running 60 rear and 44 front are running 5x5.5 and adaptors on the front.

Who is DT? Dynatrac? The PR60 is the full float 60. The trail 60 or their new release one from sema is the semi float 60.

For your setup you can get a PR44 and transfer your rubicon parts over for like $2k. A fully loaded PR44 with ARB and all that Jazz is like $5k. A 60 is around $8500 I think loaded up.

Yeah DT was Dynatrac. Thank you for more answers.I know I am asking a lot of questions but I do trust you guys and this being a huge investment I am trying to make sure I understand it and all the options.

For some reason I was thinking 8-9k per axle and just noticed the rear is less expensive then the front.

I am tossing around the PR44 housing and swapping stock parts and reinforcing rear axle but then starting thinking about the spline issues. I know if I step up to 35 spline that means a new locker and since I am going to re gear during this process it make sense to do it now and pay once for the gear and locker install.

Again thank you for the help.

I'm there man. I am accepting the price point now. So what BS do you run and is there a cost saving to buy a package?

Thank you for the info on the 5lugs. I assumed my current wheels would fit. So that's another bill to add on top.

I stepped up to DT XD60s last year and am running a 5.28 backspaced Hutchinson Rock Monster beadlocks. Setup works great for me. No rubbing and I plan to remove a couple turn radius limiting washers up front to increase turning radius even more this spring. Lots of trees where I live and wheel width and turn radius are critical.

Out of curiosity what do you think I could get for a still good but small bent complete front axle and a complete rear?

I am running 30 spline because I’m running the OE rubicon locker. If you want to run 35 spline you will need a new locker. I believe ARB and maybe OX makes a 35 spline locker for both the rubicon and nonrubicon PR44 housing.

I'm running 30 splines. There wasn't many options for 35 spline when I ordered mine.
Thank you both. Is RCV the only person who makes a 35-spline?

At first it was only rcv and g2. But I think there's a couple more now. Possibly nitro, revolution, or ten factory. I honestly can't remember but I know that there were more options for a 35 spline front axle at one point.

Wow, I guess I learned something else today. I guess 35-spline aren't as easy as I thought to come by. Alright I think I'm finalizing what direction I'm going to go.

There’s a few options for 35 spline shafts whether it’s front or rear. I still say it’s worth it if you plan on sticking to 37’s. If there’s even the slightest chance you want to go 40’s down the road, keep adding fluid and save your money[emoji23]
