Originally was going to just take off the back of edge but we had doubts it was going to clear .. so to be safe just made it a mid . It’s growing on me

Well you did an easier cut. There's a good chance you would have fucked something up doing the other cut if all you had was a sawzall. You ended up with something functional.

Looks good man! Also... learn any tricks when putting those Coopers on your Machetes by chance? I just picked mine up Friday and Mel said Coopers are a huge pain in the ass to mount. Trying to decided if I’m going to wait for the 37’s or just break down the 35’s and get them on there. View attachment 321751

1) Make sure you pull the valve stems/tpms through before putting the tire on.
2) A good set of tire levers would have helped get the bead over the rim. We didn't have any so it took 3 of us jumping, but none of us were fat.
3) Patience. Take your time & do it right.
4) Go for the 37s if you can fit them. Have some ibuprofen on hand for the next day, those fuckers are heavy!
