Part Car, Part Truck and ALL JEEP!

Jeepster Commando C101
Between 1966 and 1971, there were only 57,350 Kaiser-spec “C101” Jeepster Commandos sold in America and that makes it one of the least manufactured models in the long history of Jeep. Of course, with it’s longer wheel base, truck like bed, fast back tail gate, curving profile lines and a blunt over exaggerated CJ like grill, it’s also one of the most “unique” looking models in the Jeep family – or as my good friend Chris likes to call it, an “ugly stepchild”. Now, I know he means that in an affectionate way and that it is its ugliness that makes the Commando so loveable. Its identity crisis of being part car, part truck but still all Jeep is what makes it so much fun to drive and for our purposes, so useful to have.
